About us

We are a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, with our ministry focus in the southwestern part of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin metropolitan area. Our ultimate goal is to establish a permanent church location in the Franklin or Muskego areas.

Our congregation is served by Pastor Frank Marsh. He, his wife, Debbie, and their three adorable little daughters are a vital part of our congregation.

Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church is a family of followers of Christ who are committed to loving the Lord and loving each other. Our vision for ministry is to glorify God and to enjoy Him by embracing and advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through faithful proclamation and and personal witness of God’s word, actions of Christ-like love, caring fellowship, and Christ-centered worship in southwestern Milwaukee, our surrounding communities, and throughout the world.

Why “Covenant”? Why “Presbyterian”?

Covenant is a place of new beginnings, yet a church with roots in the past. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have entered into the “New Covenant” instituted by Christ at the Last Supper. In this Covenant, God has promised to change people from within–starting with a new “birth” that brings us to respond to the Good News of salvation He has provided through Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary. He has also promised to dwell within us, as the Holy Spirit enables us daily to live by faith, to resist temptation and to be His witnesses, never to be removed from His loving care. And he has guaranteed our place with Him in Heaven forever. Our part of the covenant is repentance of our sinful past, and acceptance of what He has done and promised as we submit to His will and guidance, and seek to be faithful to Him.

Covenant is Presbyterian in that we are led by servant-leaders who serve Jesus Christ and His people. Covenant Presbyterian is a church that takes the Bible seriously. The Bible is of central importance to us. We desire to be a community tht is informed, and formed, by His Word.

We are a part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church denomination, which has been proclaiming the good news of salvation from sin through Jesus Christ, and planting churches throughout the United States and the world, since 1936. The OPC’s beliefs are set forth in the Westminster Standards. These documents, the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger Catechism and the Shorter Catechism, reflect the historical scriptural teachings on the authority of the Bible, the necessity of faith and repentance for salvation, the conviction of salvation by grace alone, and secured by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
